The Stunning And Adorable “Four Kings”
Raja Ampat, what a unique name. Have you ever heard about this? I am sure you have not, definitely not.
But you do not need to be discouraged. Even in Indonesia, where the Raja Ampat is located, not all the residents know about Raja Ampat.
Raja Ampat (literally translates as Four Kings) is a location with sea, beaches and islands located on the westernmost tip of the island of Papua (formerly Irian Island). The island is, as you surely know, is the easternmost island of the group of islands in the Republic of Indonesia.
Believe it or not, the group of islands in this area consists of more than 600 islands. Almost all of the islands are rarely visited by tourists and therefore still in the original, pristine state as they have been in for decades.
What is most interesting in Raja Ampat and made him become very famous is the scenery. Raja Ampat which is located in the middle of coral triangle is very, very pretty famous. The islands are completely covered with dense jungle and sparkling white beaches and are surrounded by crystal clear water. Lush trees are still very natural and unspoiled. Sand beaches are also unique because the grain is large, much larger than ordinary beach sand.
Still above the water, Raja Ampat is stunningly adorable. It has a range of startling diversity of habitats to explore. From the stark wave-pounded on the Wayag cliff to the blue sea with mangroves through to the channel that go to the open sea are home to the unique species. This species is the materials which produce most impressive coral system in this area.
But what made Raja Ampat well recognized by a certain group of people in the world is the underwater condition. Raja Ampat underwater is very, very awesome. Many people who have visited and saw this area from under the water said that Raja Ampat is the world’s best diving location. The other said that this place is definitely the richest place for fish and beautiful underwater coral reefs.
So many kinds and species of water critters can be found here. Tuna fish, giant trevallies, snappers, and even baracuda are always joining divers when they dive. Not to mention the friendly assistant of dugong and their busy colleagues: the turtles. Natural and the untouched beauty is the main attraction in Raja Ampat.
Throughout the years, this amazing site has attracted many visitors. Third-quarter of them were scientists, researchers, environment activists, divers and so on. But it didn’t automatically means that you are not eligible to get there. Nowadays Raja Ampat is also waiting for families to come. That’s why the government of West Papua has started developing more infrastructures as well as board and lodging facilities in that area.
It does not matter if you or your family does not dive. Just sight-seeing will also be nice in Raja Ampat. Or you can also do the snorkeling which must be very, very beautiful. Prepare your waterproof camera like Kodak Zx3 from now on otherwise you will regret for the rest of your live and see you there.
You can also bring along your communication-aid tool, like Bose Headset Bluetooth with you, or even your new netbook like Toshiba Mini N508BL. But, your chance to use it will be so limited since you’ll be very busy with the beauty of nature in Raja Ampat.
